Start with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (2007), then Among Thieves (2009) — widely considered the moment the series found its footing — followed by Drake's Deception (2011) and the emotional capstone, A Thief's End (2016). Playing them in this order means the callbacks, the recurring cast, and Drake's gradual change all land the way Naughty Dog intended. The remastered Nathan Drake Collection bundles the first three games, making them easy to play back to back.
After the main quadrilogy comes Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (2017), a standalone spinoff that swaps Drake for fan-favourite Chloe Frazer alongside Nadine Ross. It is set after A Thief's End and works best once you have finished the main story, though it is self-contained enough to enjoy on its own.
