Mob Psycho 100 Watch Order

Why this order?

Mob Psycho 100 is one of the rare long-running anime where the right order is also the easy order. There is a single continuous storyline across three seasons, all produced by studio Bones, and each season picks up roughly where the last left off. So the watch order here is simply the release order: Season 1 (2016), Season 2 (2019), and Mob Psycho 100 III (2022). There are no spin-offs, prequels, or alternate continuities to juggle.

The "watch" order above is the only order you need. It tracks Shigeo "Mob" Kageyama, a deceptively powerful middle-schooler, as he tries to grow up while keeping his explosive psychic abilities in check. Season 1 establishes Mob, his con-artist mentor Reigen, and the Claw organization; Season 2 deepens the emotional core and the Claw conflict; and Season 3 (styled "III") delivers the climactic, character-defining finale. Watching out of order would spoil major emotional payoffs, so stick with the linear path.

The one optional gotcha is the recap special "Mob Psycho 100 Reigen -The Miraculous Unknown Psychic-" (2018). It re-tells Season 1 from Reigen's hilariously self-aggrandizing point of view and originally announced Season 2. It adds little plot, so treat it as a fun bonus best slotted between Season 1 and Season 2, not a required step. We have left it out of the main item list to keep the canonical path clean.

If you enjoy Mob Psycho 100, the obvious next stop is One-Punch Man, since both manga come from the same creator, ONE. The two share a deadpan-hero sensibility and over-the-top action, though Mob leans far more into heartfelt coming-of-age drama than parody.
